I grabbed these Karsten I woods for the nostalgia, and they don't disappoint in looks—the dark black maple heads are beautiful. But the steel shafts are heavy and stiff, and the heads need regripping, which adds cost. At $79.99 for three clubs, it's a decent project set, but you'll need to invest in grips and maybe a shaft change to make them playable.
