I snapped up this Ping G425 8-iron to test the model before committing to a set. The graphite shaft feels smooth, and the ALTA CB AWT R provides a mid-high launch that suits my game. The club is in fantastic shape, almost like new. The standard lie and grip are pluses. At $134, it's a good deal compared to buying a full set. Only downside: it's a single iron, so you're on the hook for the rest of the set if you like it.
