Our take
I tried the Ping 5L grips in undersize. They have a slightly different profile from the ID-8, more rounded. The black/aqua end cap is a nice touch. The rubber feels durable. At 10.5 inches, they fit standard length clubs. The set of 5 is handy for partial replacement. But the 5L model might be harder to find in local shops. The weight is around 52g, similar to stock grips. If you like Ping grips, these are solid, but check your size preference because undersize might feel thin.
